One of my favorite things I love to do on purpopse to **** others off is come up to an intersection to make my right hand turn and be facing a person making a left turn both of us going onto the same road. If it is a 2 lane I turn the same time as the other person does, forcing them to drive by the law, "taking the inside lane" Man does that **** off many a folk as so many people want to turn into the far lane often. I dunno but I have a warped sense of entertainment and I have to laugh because they will faulter about then realize they "HAVE" to turn into their proper lane.

I sat here for a while...really searching for times when I tic people off on purpose. I never consistently do things to tic people off. However, this last weekend I cut off some woman in line at Lowe's (waiting on mulch and potting soil and such) just because she was looking around and not paying attention. I wouldn't look her way after that because I thought she was probably giving me the bird.

I love to get in the faces of Christian fundamentalists. Whether it's at clinic defense at Planned Parenthood or picketing their churches on Sundays. I also like to tic off drivers with GWB stickers!

I think I am the nicest person in the world. Really. But I must be inadvertently pissing people off. People CAN'T **** me off, therefore it must drive them nuts! Whenever I am in public, I always let others go first, take the other lane, go in front of me, take the last one, whatever......and now after reading the above posts, I realize that I must be pissing them off!! How funny!
...and yes.. I do wake up singing, smiling and talking incessantly...and THAT REALLY pisses people off!!!

Careful minks, one of these days you may encounter someone who feels/drives like you do and wham-bam. You'll be exchanging license info! :wah:

I do this all the time.
I'll be in the passing lane of the interstate or 2 lane highway. Someone comes flying up on my tail and starts tail gating me. I catch up to a car in the driving lane who is driving considerably slower than the passing lane and slow down to match its speed, leaving "fly" driver stuck with no place to pass.

Thanks for the warning Cars. I do drive well, my insurance company loves me as I have had no claims in my 20+ years of driving. I am fortunate so far to have got away with it. But it is simple good driving and I think the others realize I am in the right to turn into my lane, they just get cheezed at me likely for taking their lane of intent. Even if that puts them in the wrong.

ROFL! Yeah, that's one of my bad habits too. I got tired of everyone road raging and cutting me off, so when I see someone coming up behind me weaving from lane to lane and speeding way past the limit, I find a car driving the right speed and "get into formation" with them, just off their side, but still in view. All our streets are two lane, so there's no way around, they have to drive the speed limit.
I call it "putting the rager in the box".
But as my wife points out to me constantly, that just increases road rage, it doesn't help it at all.
and yeah, I know that, but it still makes me laugh! I'm trying to quit doing that, though. I can quit any time...really.

it depends on the person and the amount of torture they can take. i used to on the road pull tricks like signal to the left and take a right, or blink my headlights warning a cop up ahead. but now that i am mature i no longer find enjoyment doing things like that, i always say it could be some-ones parent who is old, why mess up an elderly person, or cause harm on the road to a beginner. i have 6-7 drivers on the road with my business, so i hear horror stories all the time. to not get ticked off is an art in itself.

Anyone who purposely ticks people off on the highway is crazy!- I don't care how inconsiderate a driver the other person is- You just escalate the problem of road rage and heighten the risk of an accident. The road should be a place of mature restraint.
Having said that... I used to do a trick called "the sandwich." When I am caravaning with another car, I don't like it when other drivers get between us. So I made an agreement with the driver I was travelling with so the one in front slows down and the one in back speeds up, and the "interloper" is sandwiched in between. Ya oughta see them freak out and change lanes!

i like making the IRS mad, in 93 they called mam, you owe $39,000.00. okay i'll get the check right out. they had the nerve to call, we knew it was in error, then to the IRS office, i'm sorry Mr. so and so, we have an 06 error. i remember that day clearly, my husband says we have a gimp in the office and no-one can help me, you want the money and now you can't find my file. we left stressed as he told them a few words, they apoligized & never called again. an oriental man who wasn't fluent in english was told, don't make me come here again.
