My mums friend has just had her eyes done, and I must say she does look good.

I know that plastic surgery is becoming increasingly popular, what would you have done? or have you ever had any work done?

Only if I was badly scarred from an accident, unless the scars didn't show.

Yep i would if i was badly scarred, especially the face.

But I,m not old enough yet to consider any surgery. I may when i get to the age that things go a bit saggy.

Some of the celebs that have had work and end up looking like trout must be a nightmare. Vanity is a sad fact in that world.

My sister had her upper eyelids done and it was for vision reasons as they were drooping and cause problems. It came out great and I would have it done in a minute.

For most of us the cost keeps us from having much done. For the rich and famous they should stop having so much done they look like alien's. :wah:

I always thought if i had the money i would consider it until recently. I have quite a pronounced bump on my nose and it veers slightly to the side which makes breathing through my nose difficult, when i have flu it can be quite scary. My doctor told me i would be a candidate to have it fixed on the N.H.S (free)

When he explained the procedure of pulling back the skin from my nose, filing the bump and then breaking it with a hammer and chisel before re-setting, suddenly it seemed very unappealing, so i live with it.

If done correctly it would change your life. I know it sounds awful and it hurts, your black and blue for a very long time. The end result is correct breathing through your nose.

I know it sound gross but most nose procedure require hammers and chisels. :wah: Actually most orthopedic procedures require tools that similar to the ones we have in our garages saws, hammers, chisels, drills just the way its done.

My niece broke her nose and had to have the surgery she actually said it wasn't that bad now she can breathe out her nose again.

Believe me I understand.

I can think of some interesting projects I'd like to try out on my ex-wife....

Totally off topic I know but my wife's cousin has recently has a hip replacement - under an epidural.

She said it was fine, a bit disconcerting when they sawed through the bone and uncomfortable when they hammered the new joint in with a lump hammer but she's walking a lot more easily now.

Back to the original question - no, I am as I am, take it or leave it.

I've heard that most women that have nose surgery end up loosing their sex drive too.

I have had it but not for cosmetic reasons.

My eyes have been done because I could only see eyelashes when I read:yh_rotfl

That's great Bryn as I have never heard of such a procedure done by epidural, I can only imagine just how she felt listening.......

I would have my boobs done if I had the cash, I hate them, they are too big. I am quite small in frame and they seem to be out of proportion. I hate it when men just chat to my chest instead of my face.

I wear loose clothes to cover them up.

I went to the doctors to find out about a reduction on the NHS but they said that I would have to be really big to be considered.

I don't think I would have plastic surgery unless I was severely scarred. Surgery that is neccessary scares me enough without having surgery by choice.
