Hi Char!
Welcome to the forums! We are all fairly new here since this venue is less than a month old. I'm having a great time - and for the first time I'm actually making new friends from the Internet! (I've been online longer than I care to admit.)
Don't worry about inserting foot into mouth. I do it all the time and the folks here are very forgiving.
I'm looking forward to reading your posts. Post often and make sure you let your friends know about this place. FG seems to be attracting an interesting and friendly crowd. A rare occurrence to the usual fare you usually find on the Internet.
I am getting my wife involved and she'll begin posting this morning, I think.
I'm looking forward to that too!
