Mary Travers of Peter, Paul Mary Passed

I am sure most of you remember Leaving on a Jetplane, Puff the Magic Dragon, but Ms. Travers passed away at 72 today from Leukemia. So sad to hear, she and her band was very active in the 1960's with the Viet Nam war. I loved that song Puff the Magic Dragon, it was so youthful that you felt young all the time when you heard it. RIP Ms. Travers

I was a small kidlet but I do remember them. My mother used to sing along to 'I'm leaving on a Jet plane' on the radio.

I put an embedded youtube video in the music forum (didn't mean to double post it, I chose the wrong music area first.. ). Anyway - I remember discovering Peter Paul and Mary and folk music. Some awesome songs. I hadn't realised Mary Travers had recorded the Blood, Sweat and Tears song "And When I die" - but it's a good version, and appropriate.
