i am TALL, 5'11"...and rock solid. but after i got sick my uniform was hanging off me and my gunbelt down around my knees, i looked like barney fife. i just didn't realize i was dropping the weight. one day i went to rollcall and some deputy said to me "give me that gunbelt, your gun is on your ass and you look emaciated". that tossed me. i had to go get all new uniforms. i weigh a lot but don't look it because i am all muscle, no fat. except for breasts of course.(very large ones actually :D )

"I'm not fat, I'm big boned!"

j/k. I am 5'3" and weigh in at 170. I just had a baby though so I'm still working on getting the weight off (excuses, excuses). It's actually coming off pretty fast (I was 220 2 months ago). I am not sure what I am supposed to weigh, but would be happy at 130 or 140.

I'm 5ft 7ins and 10st exactly. I would like to be physically fitter though, but sitting at my desk typing about it isn't doing it!! :yh_smiley

A flat ratio between height and weight can be misleading. One can be thin and out of shape (like me :( ). I've started taking only two meals a day and running until I get rid of this paunch. Better to be stocky and fit than thin and flabby.

well.. I am 6 ft. even and 215.. course if you go by the BMI index I am borderline obese.. of course what that index doesn't take into account it muscle to fat ratio... and sense musle weighs more.. ......

I am overweight but I just always keep in mind muscle weighs more than

fat and I have excellent muscle tone! Bone density is really up there, so

I just try not to worry about it. TRY, I said. Anybody who gets a feel of

my biceps or quadriceps pretty much has their eyebrows hit their hairline.

Low total cholesterol (167!), low BP usually so really, what else is there?

:D

I hate questions like this for 2 reasons. #1 My daughter's health teacher has her convinced she is obese because she is 2 over the limit. In a day and age when you are trying to keep teens from anorexic and bulimic, here comes a teacher calling them obese! #2 Questions like this were a lot less painful when I was underweight. I need no reminders that I am about 20 pounds overweight now. :(
