Hi Oscar, I hpe your husband is doing better. Tell him we care.
I'm not overly thrilled about the book. I consented to a final edit, but never saw the result until it had been printed. It had to be done in time for release to the buyers. I found some inconsistencies and typos in the first few chapters. I don't mind a mistake, but these are not mine.
I hope that someday a rewrite will be allowed. I don't know how those things go.
I submitted the second one and will insist on seeing it before press. This one has a more powerful message and has received endorsement by some people in the field. It concerns child abuse and molestation. Lots of blood, killing, thrashing; but my hero comes out pretty good. The end has listings for abuse hot lines for help.

Thanks David.. Pete says thanks also.
I have got half way through the book today and I am gripped. I have to stop to go fix dinner but will finish It tonight.
I can't reccomend it enough and I didn't notice the typo's. Don't worry about them as it's the story and your style of writing that matters again.

First of all, you know you should never judge a book by it's cover. :wah:
I've got my plate full with fiction at the moment-research for my own novel I've been writing... and no, I'm not gonna' post it on here when it's published for fear of lawsuits, as at least one member here is highly recognizable as one of the characters, in a most unfavorable light, but that's another story...

Now that I've got you interested in my own novel in progress... :p
Now if this gets a favorable review from Mrs. Oscar, becomes a bestseller and there aren't any adverbs on the first page, I may have to pick up a copy.

That's one of many concerns I have about having a novel published. I'm realizing that the author doesn't have much say in the end, regarding his/her work. At least you've made it further than most hopeful writers. I wish you the best of luck on your novel.
