You know...I KNOW I havent been around much in the last year or so..but I have been REALLY busy!:o

The introduction bit (to the forum) is a really scary place these days! Who are all those people??

And why did everybody get banned?:-3

And why is it sooooo quiet in here??:-2in hereinhereinheeere

< as the paranoia sets in, the Raven looks around the forum as she notices different pieces of furniture have what looks like blood stains splattered over them. The lamp shades are skewed and few chairs are overturned. "Has there been a struggle here?" Raven asks herself.

The pictures on the walls have changed. What was once familiar, has turned into a bizarre Garden dwelling.

As she goes from room to room, frantically looking for a familiar face, she stumbles upon a rope dangling from an overhead beam. Startled, she runs to the bar. Empty glasses are strewn everywhere, while still smouldering cigarettes are in the ashtrays. "Well someone is here somewhere!" She figures. Then a waft of stale perfume catches her attention...

Almost got me wondering who spiked my tea!:-2

I just dont have time for nasty people. I love a good debate as well as anyone, but when it turns nasty, it's time to go.

Emotive subjects are always difficult when you cant see the expression on someones face as they speak.

Aw girl, it's an ever changing place the old garden.

People come people go, a good debate usually ends in blood shed sadly and the mods come in with mops and brooms to clean up.

You know me though. Very well actually! And I just cant stand nastiness. It's a shame really, when adults cant have differing view points without getting nasty!

Especially in the politcal threads, folk get nasty. It doesn't bother me as I am capable of being caustic myself. The one's that stand out for me are the ones who you know probably has no Interest in the subject being debated, don't post until the thread has got nasty and then comes in, only because they believe the members are falling out. Some live in a deluded little world where they think by coming into a thread after 60 or so posts to chime in, doesn't show that what they are really doing is trying to side with the one's attacking one member simply because they have a problem with that member. Unknown to them, we have been falling out with each other for a very long time and we all actually have a great deal of respect and affection for each other. In times of need, it is always the one's at each others throats that are there first for another member. They seem to think that coming into a thread so late in the day, especially when they have not posted on any other thread, they are going to enlighten in some way. People like this stand out a mile especially when they are on line every day, trawling every thread, and then only going to the thread where it appears there is some nastiness between members. These people haven't been around long enough to realise that we are all capable of falling out over politics and becoming quite verbal, yet our affection for each other remains. That's why FG is so special, we don't take these things personally and it is childish of those who think we do. We are all grown up here and tomorrow is another day. Shame some can't get the message.

Totally agree! It's the personal nature of some assaults that beggars belief though! I was just telling my hubby about the bloke who got arrested after having been with his online girlie for an hour! She had tried to murder her husband! :yh_rotfl

And people call ME crazy!!

Glad to see you're back Raven. Every place has its ups and downs, and right now it seems we are in a down...which only means we are due for an up again. Do what I do, avoid the people you know are only trying to cause problems, and if we do that long enough, hopefully these people will straighten their acts up. Just enjoy the fun and lightheartedness...there is still plenty of that around here. :-4

Hello, Raven! Hello, Raven's Hubby! :)

In our home, the living room/dining area/kitchen are all open. My desk is right in the middle so I can type on my computer, watch TV and check the supper and set the table without going into another room. :wah: It's evening right now. About 8pm. Hubby is laying on the couch watching "Centennial" on DVD. I'm kinda watching it too.

To me, FG is still a good place to visit.

Just watch the cobwebs.................................:wah:
