What do think? Approve----Disapprove

I think they are fine. Seems like there are some great looking adults and kids that are products of interracial marriages. All the fears of those that are concerned about RACIAL PURITY seems to have been for naught. There has been no watering down of either intellect or beauty.

Speaking for myself I dont even comprehend the question.

As if what others do is an issue for anyone else to discuss and decide whether its ok or not ok.

Well ---- if you have been following the news-----A judge in Louisiana refused to marry a couple because they were not of the same race. When interviewed by the press he said he would be concerned for the children.

So Nomad my friend------apparently it is an issue for some.

I was speaking for myself. I'm well aware of the plethora of idiocy that exists in our country but I'm disconnected from it. (that particular idiocy, I possess my own unique idiotic traits) Cant change it, don't care to try.

I say all the power to the people who love each other, should we not be happy that they set a good example of loving and learning about one and others cultures?

I applaud those that can.

I absolutely approve and have even been engaged to women of other races... African, Asian, (East Indian) and have dated members of every race there is. It's a non-issue with me.

I live in London.

Last place I worked there were an ethnic Indian pair of sisters. The eldest had an arranged marriage and was last I heard, very happy. The youngest had posters of Ian Wright on the wall and there was no question of an arranged marriage. Not that her interest was popular in her culture...

One of my cousins has coffee coloured kids - and great folk they are.

I suspect that the Human Diaspora is over. I don't know what it means, but it's very exciting.

What??? You're not askin' for yourself are ya'? Your divorce from Mr. Oscar can't be finalized by now, surely? :yh_rotfl Besides, women always run to some loser, rebound guy after a break-up. It's been true of every single girlfriend I've ever had and I learned this a LONG time ago! Y'all do it, so don't lie! :wah:

Actually, I was most recently engaged to a very beautiful, English model, Catherine, whom I dated for three years and was convinced was "the one". I left her at the altar and none of my friends have understood me ever since! :wah:

After my first wife died I dated a great looking Chinese lady for a few months. I took her to a Bar B Q that a relative was having and it was interesting to see all the jaws drop. Never a comment to me about it, they all knew better. She was a Psychologist and a bit strange so the relationship never got going.

I've always LOVED Asian women... Chinese women, especially... in fact, my very first "girlfriend" (she was six and I was eight at the time :p ), was Asian. She was SO cute, too... looked just like that amazingly cute lil' girl in the Windows 7 commercials... "more happy coming!" :wah: . I actually just happened to run into her a few weeks ago and added her to my Facebook... she just so happened to be in town because she was in charge of her high school class reunion and was organizing/attending that for the weekend. It's always so much fun running into good, old friends from the past!

Psychologists are always strange... has nothing to do with race! The phrase takes one to know one always comes to mind when I think of psychologists. :wah:

Actually, I believe he may have been referring to an earlier post that is no longer visible in the thread. I remember wondering something similar when I saw it before it disappeared. I think his error was in not quoting it instead of just questioning it. If you quote someone, they can't go back and change or remove their previous statements.

But I'd be more then happy to go find it and restore it for you two, if Odie would like:-6

by all means, post it, don't bother me....do what you think a mod should do.

this way someone can ask me why I think this way of some Asian women.

Lon said CHINESE, not Asian....huge huge difference.

or it could be because Oscar said, she had sex with a chinese once and was hungry an hour later.......and I quoted her.:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

-did anyone understand that one?

oh well Diane you carry on with me, just like always.

Oscar seemed confused about why Lon asked the question. And the fact that you both came back to the thread tonight seeking an answer, after Lon has already said he's taking off for a bit, I thought I'd try to help you two out.

It's not really that confusing when the thread is read with the posts in the order they were placed in the thread. But I could certainly understand Oscars confusion if she had missed your earlier post before it disappeared.

Your post quoting gman gushing over Asian women and Chinese women in particular and ending it with  and :( as I recall, made Lons follow up post perfectly logical, IMO. That first smilie indicates mad, the second frown.

---oh okay, didn't know we were all supposed to have been here at whatever time he said that.

does everyone know this? I don't think so.

oscar wasn't confused....she had asked lon why....he didn't answer either of us.

I wasn't posting to G-man over him gushing over Chinese women?

I was talking about Asian....... there are several cultures.

I think 'same sex' marriage is the 'interracial' marriage of this generation.

But I'm always curious to see if you foreigners are ahead or behind the way I see the world. I think my childrens children will wonder what the big stink was all about.

I read the question to be about the case in Louisiana, not a personal question of Lon's. It made me curious about the laws in Louisiana and I'm going to research it. I've always thought that this is a good thing about some of these topics on FG, they make you think and wonder and maybe gain some knowledge and insight that you didn't have before. Along with this question were several others by Lon which I perceived as a stimulus to get the Garden going, thinking, wondering, talking, debating, answering.
