You're Insane

I have many attributes that in fact drive me to the brink of insanity. I'm an incessant clean freak. I'm a perfectionist. I'm rarely satisfied, I can never leave well enough alone. If I find one thing wrong I dissect it until Ive found 40 things wrong.

I'm very near to losing my mind.

How are you insane?

I know you are. We all do, its not a secret. Everyone has always known your a nut job.

I've started wearing crochet woolly hats in various different colours whenever I go out (one at a time, I might quickly add) and I don't actually care what I look like. This may, or may not be a little insane. I even have a purple one, but I haven't started spitting in the street...yet.

Im a little disappointed. This is fairly anti climactic. I took you for more the screaming "my cat will eat your face" to anyone that looks at you the wrong way.

I would post a photo, Floppie, but everyone takes a wide berth or crosses the road to avoid me when I'm out, so who would dare to stop to take a photograph of me? I discussed the possibility with Fergus, the cat, earlier. He refuses to touch a camera...he thinks they are a curse and serve only to objectify the subjective, and to glorify the body.

Zap, my woolly hats match nothing. They are random...they jump into my basket at Asda, I have no say at all.

Nomsi, my insanity is subtle. It takes a quiet path. In fact, I might even suggest that it's shy, which is, by happy coincidence, the title of my new book that I'm promoting for Christmas...A Shy Insanity.

It's a brilliant title, isn't it, Zap? Sadly, Fergus told me that he hates books...he said that books objectify the subjective (he didn't mention the glorification of the body this time, though he's always on about it) so it's still in my head, unobjectified  But, rest assured that if I had written it, you would have been the first to receive a free copy, signed.

Actually, I'm wishing now I had written it...I could certainly do with reading it at the moment.

The kind of insanity that sneaks up on unsuspectings.

Love it!

I tend to think "musically", Dear Theia. I can hear a song brewing, formulating, gathering, promulgating in your title. Help me with the lyrics, will ya? And maybe we can get Nomad to tell us if it's danceable. You know, after we write some music for it. Hey, Nomie can help us set it to music. He's got great rhythm and really feels the beat, Man! I feel some big bucks could be made here and don't we need it in these trying times?!!

Shy Insanity, why can't you let me be?

Shy Insanity, with you I can't be free,

Free to walk the walk (A little cane-tapping here for effect)

Free to talk the talk

Free to speak my mind

Wherever, whatever that might be. . . .

Feel free to jump right in there. Don't be shy.
