I would not have him banned in the first place, but that is just me. It takes everyone to make a interesting world.

It was three and a half years ago, long before any of the current moderator team were recruited. Today's decision was presumably taken by someone thinking they were implementing site policy but I can't see they had time to discuss it with their peers. What happened has no justification whatever. Whoever did it is undoubtedly watching this thread, I can see no reason why they should refuse to participate in discussing this error of judgement.

Every time she tried coming back in over the last year and a half I fought very hard to stop her being thrown off again, that's something every mod here knows to be true. As far as I'm concerned I'd be delighted to see her back on FG. The problem people who need keeping off are those who've disguised themselves through proxies and are genuinely not who they've claimed to be - RJ and JJ immediately spring to mind, and one other recent outrage.
