When I was a kid we used to yell across the hallway to each other at bedtime the same thing every single night, no exceptions:

Good night.

Sleep tight.

Don't let the bed bugs bite.

I can't recall when it stopped but I think it was when we moved and didn't share the same hallway to our bedrooms.

I always liked " you wanna come in baby?"

*sigh* i just say i love you. sappy eh?:-4 .....but sometimes i just say welcome to jail dirtwad! you have the right to remain silent after you get your sorry butt off the ground where i put you!!..... ...oops, did i say that? heh heh
