You don't know in advance what's going to happen, so you don't know you're going to lose, so you leap in boots and all and hope for the best.

Even more, maybe you don't even choose to fall in love in the first place. What is this thing called, Love? You stumble around for a while and then bingo, you're up to your eyeballs in stars and glowing and your stomach's churning, and it's too late. Did you ever choose that?

Maybe you can decide that you are going to lock yourself away, never go anywhere - and particularly on some enchanted evening don't let your eyes stray across a crowded room...

Or if suddenly you see a stranger and feel that first stirring, RUN... RUN FORREST RUN..
