So today is the start of the process to "Elect" the new pope. 100 plus old guys (only guys) get together in secret to elect the leader of the worlds nearly 1 billion catholics. Amongst issues that the new pontiff will get to pontificate (geddit) on will be marriage, sex, abortion. Three things that none of the electoral college should have ever experienced (abusing children does not count).

How is this possible, the whole process reminds me more of some scene out of Harry Potter rather than a major world religion, Purple clad cardinals sitting in secret, smoke issuing from the chimney to announce a decision ect etc.

I hope it's not that former nutzy guy. That's all we need a pope who does not like othere religions.

I had an idea, they should all put on those oversize boxing gloves and set to, last one standing is the pope.
