Hey all Happy Monday.

I have to share this story with you, it will put a smile on your face.

I work with 4 gentlemen who come from Russia and the Ukraine. They speak varying degrees of English, but enough that we all can get along very well. Our least english speaking co-worker brought in a big cake today. I asked him why as it is not his birthday (seems their tradition is to supply cake for their birthdays unlike here in North America we supply employees with a cake or a lunch or whatever) So today when I asked about the cake he said "we have small glad in life so I brought cake, my 1 year anniversary working with the company"

Isn't that cool, some one truly appreciating the employment he has. I dunno I found it heart warming, a small glad

Just my musing for a monday.

i work in a school kitchen with all the changes jamie oliver wants life is tough at the moment



for all these who are in the big wide world he is the guy who wants kids to eat better good idea but hard to put into pratice

ah just things like that that make me thankful for a lot of things in life. And it is an eye opener to realize what some of us have compared to what others have.

Just a wee inspiration for the start of the week.
