DEPO LUPRON is manufactured by Takeda Abbott Pharmaceuticals (TAP) is a joint venture between Abbott Laboratories and Takeda Chemical Industries of Japan.Depo Lupron is a GnRH Agonist

used to treat endometriosis, infertility, and prostate cancer in men. The drug

is given in the form of an injection, 6 injections over a 6 month period. Common

side effects are-hot flashes, night sweats and vaginal dryness. These side effects

are supposed to go away 3-6 months after treatment has ended. Depo Lupron is causing

long term terrible side effects that are lasting up to 5 years after treatment

has ended. Some examples are- Neurological Problems, Seizures, Fibromyalgia, Hormonal

Problems, Severe Abdominal Pain, Cardiac Problems, Joint Pain, Headaches, Rashes, Loss of Vision, Dizziness and Confusion. Some women have even gone blind or ended up in wheelchairs.

Doctors are refusing to aknowledge these long term side effects of Depo Lupron.

TAP is also denying any long term side effects of Lupron and insisting that the

It is a injection that a woman gets every 90 days to prevent pregnancy. It does

have some short term side effects- small amount of weight gain, headaches, depression

Thanks for posting this hun, I thought I recognized the name Depo Provera as a birth control but wasn't sure. My grandsons wife was taking this needle but from what I can remember it made her ill so she went to the coil instead.

thanks for the info. It seems there are a lot of meds. on the market that have very serious side affects that are really worse than the condition used to treat them. Always ask your Dr. what to watch out for and if he doesn't tell you, google it before you use it just to be on the safe side.
