however my husband would have to come first

how can i picture life without him although the thought of another child would be tempting without him there it would be less temping

we went though so much to get our 2 children he stood by me through the tears and shouting i could not sit by and watch him suffer he is well and truely my better half

This is a trickier question than it seems at first. There are a number of factors to consider. If it was my current child at risk I would insist that her life be spared over mine and would hope my husband would feel the same. An unborn child is different as you don't know it yet. Is the suggestion here that the baby's kidney is suitable for a transplant or my own (at the price of the pregnancy) If the baby was to be harvested for a transplant...I don't know that they would even do that!

okay...my final answer...if my child were born...I would save my child over my husband.

if my child were not born...I would save my husband.

That makes me a bad person/christian (if I am one...still wondering about that)...also a bad wife/mother? How do you win?!

If the child is pulling air into his/her lungs...then I have to save him/her over my husband. That is what hub would want me to do also. What kind of man says "save me" over his child? No man that I would want to be married to...that is for sure.

The cliff hanger one...my husband would insist on saving the child. And I think I would anyway

The medically ill one...you can always have another child

yeah but could you let your eight year old child fall to her death? I would imagine neither is easy but an eight week old foetus (and I don't wanna open a can of worms whether its classed as a child or foetus) unfortunately would not take preference over my husband

man...this is a tuffie. it would depend on how bad the crime was...and if he/she showed any regret for his/her actions.

lots of specifics here!

For Women:

Your husband is medically ill and is in deperate need of a kidney transplant to survive. However, you find out that you are pregnant and in order to save your husband you will have to sacrifice the life of your child. What do you do?

For Men:

Same question but it is your wife who is ill and in order to get the operation the doctor tells you that they will have to sacrifice your child to save your wife.
I don't have to think about this one------SAVE WIFE

These are easy questions for me...I'm 50 and have had a full, amazing, and adventurous life. With the kidney, I'd tell my family, "I love you, be good, goodbye." then I'd pull my own plug.

With the cliff, I'd yell at my wife, "Grab the kid!"

A child stil has all their future ahead of them.....me, well I've had my share of life, much more than most, and I'm at peace with God and content. ;)

Damn straight. There are consequences for any action, how can a child learn if you shield them from those consequences? Much better to let them find out when they are young, instead of setting them up for a future failure.

I should know, my parents turned me in. But then they were there when I got let out and told me, "We still love you."

That was when I was 17, I've never committed a crime since. ;)

If it was prison time, I would get a lawyer first to see how long he/she would be facing. If it was a long time, I'd pack his bag. If it was short or possibly fines/probabtion I would probably turn him in, in hopes he learned a lesson.

I'm a big, square-jawed, squinty eyed, guy. I certainly don't look like a mark. Serial killers would probably run screaming from me. (At least when I glare, the crowds at WalMart part rather quickly.)

I'd stop, crack the window a bit and ask in my best, baritone, command voice, "I'm Lieutenant Ives, do you need help?"

That should set the bad guys back on their heels and reassure the good guys.

First question regarding the kidney transplant??? Why would you have to sacrafice your unborn child. Even if a match they should still be allowed to live. Maybe I just don't get the question. People can be on dialysis for long time before they need a transplant. Couldn't use an infants kidney in an adult anyway. I don't see what one has to do with the other.

The cliff delima would be my child. Unless there was a way to grab them both.

Question about stopping for some standing in the middle of the road.. Nope I would drive to the next area where there were people call 911 and give them the information then I would wait if they need to meet me for the trip back.

If my child committed a crime.. You bet I would turn them in. I have done so already, was the best lesson she ever learned.. BREAKING THE LAW IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN MY BOOK.. NO MATTER HOW LITTLE THE OFFENSE..
