jacob who suffers from cancer ...but is not dying!!! Is the recipient of the most stupid hoax. this is the message on youtube....

"Jacob Hadcock age 4 has terminal cancer and has been told he will not see another christmas. He attended that store's polar express santa claus day. When he was asked what he wanted for christmas .....all he asked for were christmas cards from everyone."

It's a hoax . His mother has asked that no more be sent.

Mexico, NY -- Day after day, thousands of Christmas cards are delivered to Jacob Hadcock in Mexico. Cards are coming in from Central New York, every state in the United States and countries as far away as England, Australia and China. They come from people who think 4-year-old Jacob is dying.

An e-mail and YouTube video about Jacob have made their way around the globe stating this will be Jacob’s last Christmas. He might not make it to the New Year, the e-mail claims. And all he wants for his last Christmas is Christmas cards, the e-mail suggests.

The e-mail, though well-intentioned, is wrong. If you get it, delete it.

“Jacob does have leukemia, said his mother, Amie Hadcock. “But he’s going through treatment, and he’s doing great. He’s a healthy boy, and he goes to preschool.

“What bothers me is the false information, said Jacob’s father, Ron Hadcock. “We don’t want anyone sending cards on false pretenses.

The loads of mail — more than 25,000 cards — are overwhelming the Hadcock family. While the family appreciates the support for Jacob, they do not wish to receive any more cards. “The cards are a wonderful thing, but we would rather everyone keep Jacob in their thoughts and prayers, Amie Hadcock said.

The e-mail and YouTube video have popped up on Web sites for Harley-Davidson owners, church members, fish keepers, archers and horse owners. Some people have picked up the message and Twittered it to all their friends and family.

Even though it was a hoax, it's heartwarming to see how many people cared enough to send him a card.
