Review of the healthcare reform bills

I downloaded the bills (both House and senate versions as passed, and have been trying to go through them to make sense out of the whole thing.

It occurs to me that more eyes might be better, and perhaps we can ferret out the truth of the things, rather than accept all the hyperbole offered by the various special interest groups that have been hammering the media with scare tactics.

Is anyone interested in a section-by-section review and discussion?

I would rather chew my foot off and see if its covered under the new plan. :wah: Sorry I worked in a hospital for 22 years. I spent most of that time trying to run programs and codes given to us by the government for payment. You will drive your self nuts trying to understand the bill. :-5

If you guy's are going to take this on perhaps it would be best to save the energy for the one that makes it out of committee. I'd imagine one bill reading will burn you out.

I am much less afraid of big goverment, and much more afraid of multibillion dollars private corporations...

Goverment was created by the people, and corporations answer to nobody.

They are secretive, shady, and greedy.

Goverment is just doing christian/judeo, religious duty of helping poor, disadvantaged people with no insurance to get afordable health care, and Robin Hood approach to tax ones that are rich, and well off.

I see it more as insurance reform rather than health care reform.
