When I opened my Christmas presents from my husband this year, there was a striking absence of that 'special' gift. I got the handbag I wanted and lots of treats but that special one was missing. I didn't say anything even when I handed him his 'special' gift.
He gave me my special gift this morning telling me It was late beause the Jeweller told him there would be a third off all gold as from Boxing Day.
What a bloody Liberty !!! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

It was a gold and diamond ring.
His special was gold dog tags on a gold chain that I had engraved with a message. Only I paid full price so he had It Christmas morning.
Has anyone else noticed how gold has rocketed In price since last year?
I suppose this means we should hide It all just incase Gordon Brown feels the urge to sell It all off again.

Gold is worth lots these days. I sold some of my broken chains and other items I no longer needed got $500.00 for just a few things.
