I have followed my Biorhythm Cycle off and on for a number of years and like Astronomy, there are some interesting coincidences. Do I believe? Dunno. Apparently Japan Airlines and others have found it to be useful in scheduling their pilots on some flights. What do you think? Have you ever checked your Biorhythm Cycle? If not, do a search on it and get a free analysis.

Nope. Never followed them.
Have noticed that I am definitely twitchier around the time of the full moon though! Know other men who say the same.
Interesting summary of an article in the British Medical Journal:
The incidence of crimes reported to three police stations in different towns (one rural, one urban, one industrial) was studied to see if it varied with the day of the lunar cycle. The period of the study covered 1978-82. The incidence of crimes committed on full moon days was much higher than on all other days, new moon days, and seventh days after the full moon and new moon. A small peak in the incidence of crimes was observed on new moon days, but this was not significant when compared with crimes committed on other days. The incidence of crimes on equinox and solstice days did not differ significantly from those on other days, suggesting that the sun probably does not influence the incidence of crime. The increased incidence of crimes on full moon days may be due to "human tidal waves" caused by the gravitational pull of the moon. By C P Thakur and D Sharma Dec 1984
Other studies have found no such correlation...

hysterical imo Lon :wah: but thanks, what a bloody brilliant excuse for being a moody cow and can now justify it to my husband with it was my biorythm moon crossing my saturn sun hun and completely out of character, so sorry but you understand right?

Did anyone consider whether the criminals might use the extra light to see without showing a torch?
Just a silly suggestion but maybe there's a mundane explanation rather than invoking "human tidal waves".

many years ago a friend of mine printed my cycle off for a year and I stuck it up on the wall all around my room and checked it daily at the end of the day and it was a little erie when some of the moments matched.... I dunno about putting too much merit into them it was just a cool thing to study for a spell.
I yam what I yam and all things influence me, I don't think with any kind of preordained anything holds much merit with me.

As well as having an eerie feeling when some of the moments matched did you also take note of the days when there was no match?

Wouldn't surprise me. :wah:
It's not an area I know anything about, really. So I keep an open mind. Didn't expect to find an article on the subject in the BMJ!
