How long has this site been going? Who started it? Why did you start it? Did you come from another board...and decide to start your own place? Were there a group of you that came here together?
I don't know much about this happy little place. I would like to know more. Can anybody fill me in on the history of FG?

Anastrophe and Tombstone own the Garden. They started it a few years agoas a way to make a kittle extra money. it just grew from there.

They do a fantastic job!
It seems like this site is not that old though. Jives, you said they started it a few years ago. The dates that people joined don't seem over a year old. Did this site start somewhere else? Do you know?

Hi everyone,
Actually FG started about 8 months ago. It's still a baby.
Make extra money? I don't think so! We love forums and decided to create our own again for enjoyment. I ran BBS's starting way back in 1986. The old saying applies:
"A forum operator and his/her money are soon parted."

yeah...I didn't think you did it for the money. It has to be for the love of it.
FG is a wonderful place. It is so new too! It will keep growing and growing!
Thanks for the answers!

Well! I stand corrected! At least I got one out of three of my facts straight. About par for the course for me!
That actually makes me feel good, I only missed out on about 6 months of the boards, in on the ground floor!

Thanks for the nice notes! Yes, I think we have something pretty nice here - I couldn't find an environment I could "connect" to on the Internet so decided to create something new.

As usual hotsauce had a great question. I learned something today myself, & I have been a member since early October 04. I have never been a forum member in any other place, & I'm sure I would never find one as terrific as this one!!!! The people in this Garden are the greatest!!
