The Ministry of Transport test (more usually: MOT) is an annual test of automobile safety, roadworthiness aspects and exhaust emissions which are applicable to most vehicles, do you not have something similar in America?

Yes, a smog inspection. Every two years.
I just had it done. And honestly too. My son works there, I made sure I didn't get his line......and all his coworkers were so nice and went around shaking my hadn and saying hi. :wah:

I never know, unfortunately. I have a wife though, who thankfully knows when I'm about to cough, so those things are breeze for her. I'm a disaster without her
