I am standing at the very top of an open cut mine.
The cage is there for obvious reasons.......thank goodness.
This mine is a gold mine, also silver, copper but mainly gold.
I am hoping to get down into the mine with Effi & take some pics there as well.
Depending on security.
Then it was time to go for a dip in the pool.

I very carefully took this pic .
Grandson is holding the shirt .:-4
We are on the highway to Adelaide.
As far as you can see in this pic is the never ending highway.
Our daughter collects all "froggy" things.
This is a small part of her collection of the frog tiles.
Effigy hanging in a tree with a headframe from one of the local mines.
I will go forth tomorrow & take some more pics if the weather is nice.

The first pic is the entering our town from the eastern side heading towards Adelaide.
Typical mining town a pub on every corner.
The other pic is a memorial to all the local miners who have died down the mines.
Sadly I knew a lot of them.RIP.
