Creature of Habit may refer to:

one who is extremely used to their own habits and does not function well without them

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Are there things you do everyday like clockwork?

Are there certain words you use regularly?

I will begin by admitting that I am a creature of habit. But I do enjoy an occasional pleasant surprise. ;)

What about you?:)

Yes and No.

Good or Bad?

The only Bad habit i have is spending too much time on the computer ( lately). Come the end of March I spend more time working and being outdoors.

I have "Flip Flop" seasonal habits.:yh_rotfl

As for me, I've found that, in the last several years, I have acquired a good habit. I have to fasten my seatbelt when I'm in a moving vehicle. In the rare occasion when I find myself in a vehicle with no sealtbelt or a hidden seatbelt, I feel very uncomfortable.

Gotta have those straps around me and hear that decisive click.

YES, definately a creature of Habit here!! :wah:

Am extremely used to everyday habits that happily keep me within my confort zone! Sometimes when feeling adventurous, will go outside comfort zone!

However, really don't have certain words that are used regularly.

Oh I am very anal and need to be structured....

I guess being a teacher, spending tons of time at home working on schoolwork and quite often working a 2nd/3rd job.....I need to be organized.

I have lists to remind me of sub-lists....

I'm working on changing but don't think it will happen soon:(

I'm no Martha Stewart :wah:, but there are two things that I MUST do before I leave my home in the morning. Our bed must be made up and any dirty dishes in the kitchen sink must be washed and placed in the drainer to drip dry.

Okay....so many of us are creatures of habit. But, has there ever been a time when you threw caution to the wind and did something completely unexpected of you?

I'll share if you will. ;)

I choose not use this thread as a confessional for past "misdeeds". ;) Suffice to say that I realize that I have not always made the smartest or well-received choices in my life. But.....these were MY choices and I do take responsiblity for them.

The phrase "caution to the wind" implies no forethought to a particular action. For myself, I usually have given much thought to what I decide to do.

In this stage of my life, I am enjoying being a "creature of habit." I like the structure of my life; the comfort of it. I do appreciate what I have. :)
