Is anyone else a member of this group in their local area?

I've been a member for a while now and am amazed at the things that get put up for recycling. Dogs for one, along with washing machines, dishwashers any household bits and pieces as well as gardening goods. Lots of wanted posts pop up as well and most people seem to be successful at getting what they need for free.

We also have that here in my area. I joined, but haven't taken or given anything yet. I think it's a great thing to do though.

Yes, i'm a member. Given stuff away and recieved over the years.

I'm also aware that the guys who work at city dumps just sell the good stuff on so not much reaches landfill anyway, personally i'd rather give it away to somebody who actually needs it.
