Damn----there has been consistently great weather, warm, sunshine, blue skies and white clouds, full clear moon at night with bright shiny stars.
How boring---------how about a mild earth quake, no damage, just enough to wake you from sleep, or maybe a small twister or two, just enough to pull feathers of the chickens and tug the wool on the sheep. Lightning and thunder would be nice. I love thunder, the louder the better. I know---------how about a hail storm, that would be nice, catch the stones in a cup for your lemon aide. Unfortunately none of this is scheduled to happen as the weather forecast is for continuing nice weather------boring.

little more than a week ago, we had a foot of snow on the ground, then some freezing rain, then thunderstorms and tornado warnings, and now a couple of days in the 70's and 80's with clear skies and crisp cool nights, by the weekend, more thunderstorms with threat of hail and tornadoes.
Frankly, I am READY for some boring weather.

You in Now Zewlind now Lon? ...Brett has come back from his competition shoot . They came fourth after much controversy. doesn't matter he came second in an overall comp and is now a qualified sniper ( or as i call it) .
My understanding of the controversay...team coming first .........a NZ team ...rules....one team=one school , this team was made up of two schools.... instantly disqualified. ........our team coming second ....no worries.
End of comp Our team wins ................they change comp rules, after the end and just before final tally......comp changes from points to targets. We then come forth .
do ya think Yarram teachers and reps weren't spitting chips . ??????
Couldn't have an isolated goverment school winning could they? .....instead the private school in one of our major towns got second place .....we are still trying to work it out because it certainly wasn't on skill.!!!!
there you go, are you still bored?
could somone tell me how in gods name you change the rules of an international competition just after the final gunshot??????????????

Well. let's see, I think we've just about run the gamut here in the last 24 hours: Starting with 90 degree temps, then a small earthquake, only 4.1, but it woke up some people, then the wind picked up to 18-25 mph, gusting to 40, and now it's raining. Still no hail or thunder & lightning (we NEVER have those, but wait, the day's not over yet!) And the flooded desert was just beginning to dry up too, after the floods of Jan. & Feb.
