Hang on Folks... they've removed the video
A secret video leaked on to the internet shows American soldiers laughing as a helicopter strike kills around a dozen civilians in Baghdad.
In the 17-minute black-and-white footage from an Apache helicopter gunsight, the crew can be heard discussing the carnage as if they were playing a video war game.
One soldier can even be heard shouting: 'Ha, ha, I hit 'em.' Another says: 'Look at those dead b******s.'

so this helicopter is circling above, and the victims are aware of it circling and still mill around not bothered by it. They don't run away, they don't shoot at it, and then they are fired upon?
Nice! ....not.

Newsmen have a way of getting in the way. Don't they realize, pointing cameras at armed men in a combat zone is inviting someone to shoot at you? Wanna stop it, quit sending idiot newspeople to war zones.

Stuff like this happens when you give boys big toys that go boom.
This one happened three years ago.
What's the point?
I mean, it certainly wasn't something that should have happened, but three years later to bring it up again?
What's the point?

Journalists in War zones are necessary for accountability.
Those journalists were assassinated on purpose. The pentagon doesn't want the truth about the Iraq or Afghanistan war to come out.
Most of the mainstream media won't report the truth about war casualties so most the facts you'll find online
Civilian deaths so far in Iraq alone, from 2003 to now are around 104,529.
Iraq Body Count
Here is a site that lists the military body count for the same time. So far casualties from all nations involved totals 4,705. 4,387 are US soldiers.

"The pentagon has been shutting down websites that show pictures and assassinating the news people that create them. I would advise collecting them and passing them around by email, since that is harder for the Pentagon to stop. The Daily Mirror in Britain bravely left one of their stories in place all XXed out instead of just removing it in to Orwellian oblivion when censored.
There are surprisingly few pictures of the damage or the casualties of Gulf War I or the sanction bombings. Bush Sr. exercised strict censorship. Please pass on URLs of any photos that speak to the heart."
"Americans are as deeply in denial to their wrongdoing as Nazis were. They imagine that America spent three trillion dollars ($120,000.00 per Iraqi man, woman and child (in a country with an average monthly wage of $5) to create grief for Iraqis, all without killing any non-combatants. What nonsense! Sgt. Frank Wuterich (accused of murdering 24 civilians) explained in a 60 Minutes interview that the policy is to kill anyone who shows “hostile intent That would include a child throwing rocks or old women screaming obscenities. That would include anyone who did not lie on the ground in submission — something the non-English speaking Iraqis are supposed to automatically understand. He said that he and his men threw grenades into houses, without doing any checks first to see if there was anyone there who was a combatant. Their belief is the only good Iraqis is a dead Iraqi, that Iraqi civilians are worthless scum, so it is perfectly acceptable to kill children on the off chance they might kill a resistance fighter in the process. The American soldiers have lower morality than the Nazis in this regard. "
Here's some pictures of the War carnage in Iraq alone. WARNING: these pics will turn your stomach if you have any humanity or compassion. They are graphic and horrific.

I feel sorry for the American Government when, (not if) the american people become aware of what is being done, in 'their' name.
You have to come out of America to be able to see it clearly.

Yes, everyone in every 2nd and 3rd rate country knows exactly how the USA should be run.

Well, good for you. However, I will not be made to feel ashamed of my country or to be an American, like some of these yahoos here try to do.

I never agreed with the gummint about the invasion of Afghanistan, Partly because it was obvious what was going to follow, but we did, and we are there, and we need to complete what we started.
Besides, what was the body count when the Taliban was running things there?

I watched video when I finally found a good link.
While it seems despicable, I have to say it is nothing new in military conduct in a war zone.
And nothing unique to American Military in a war zone.
Sadly, it does look like the one guy may have been carrying a RPG. Though I would think if they really were hostile, they would have been trying to hid from the helicopters. The range on the Apache .30's is not far enough, and the things are really not that quiet that those guys could have not realized they were in range of those Apache's that were circling their position.
And then to fire in the van trying to pick up wounded...?
But then we are back to War is a terrible thing, and mistakes happen. Men get trigger happy.
War sucks. plain and simple.
You don't even want to know about some of the stuff that went on in Vietnam. and you can bet yer ass that the same kind of stuff happened in Chchnya, ans Bosnia, Cambodia, Georgia.
Not to mention Chiapas, Columbia, Tibet, Hungary, Poland, France, etc.
You can go back to the first military operations in history and find such unwarranted brutality and death.
