Can't you call the cops? I'm thinking defacing property would be an offense.

You and me both, Skittles. Sure hang out with your friends, but don't destroy other people's property! For Pete's Sake!
I'd like the penalty for Graffitti to be that :
1. You have to paint over your own graffitti.
2. The cops get to go to your house and write anything they want to on your walls.

I know the people doing the graffiting(is that how you spell it???) and i don't know what to do about it. SOMEONE HELP ME OUT HERE!!!!!!!
I share your hatred. I would like to take those spray cans and stick em where the sun doesn't shine. Remember a few years back about the American teen in Singapore that Spray Painted a car? Do you remember the furor over how the Singaporan Police treated him? Having just been in Singapore I will tell you it's one of the cleanest places I have ever been, yet, some critics feel that fines for spitting on the sidewalk or throwing trash on the street is too severe, not to mention the penalty for spray painting. Hmm!!!

In San Diego GRAFFITTI is against the law.. If caught you can do time, and have to pay for the clean up. It is such a big problem that laws had to be made. If it is a child caug, the parents have to pay for the clean up.
No one has the right to destroy other peoples property. We actually have a special unit in the police department just for graffitti taggers.
Don't feel bad about turning them in, probably the best thing you can do for them. You should be able to do in without giving your NAME.. THEY WON'T KNOW WHO TURNED THEM IN.
I'M SICK OF THE TAGGERS CONSTANTLY SPRAYING EVERYTHING.. :-5

Can't you ask the police to keep you anonymous?

Drop an anonymous note in the mail to your local Police station with the address "Location" of where the culprit lives! Let them take it from there:guitarist

skittles2004 wrote: True! another problem is i dont know there names but i know where exactly where he lives. You should tell what you know. Odds are the police already know something about the taggers. If they get caught, maybe it will help them grow up and think about their lives.
For building owners who fear being tagged. I've heard that if you keep your building neat, painted, landscaped and nice, it's less likely you'll be tagged. Anyway, clean new paint is easier to match.
