Watch Those Carbs

About two months ago I started reading the NUTRITION LABELS on the back of food items. This is not new to many of you I realize, but I was personally not aware of just how many carbs are in the stuff we eat. Carbs of course convert to sugar and too may carbs can put on the pounds/kg's. I haven't eliminated carbs from my diet but have just avoided eating as many and voila 15 lbs have been shed in just two months. I really was not trying to loose any weight as I was only about 10 lbs over, however at 6' 4" and now at an even 200 lbs I'm right where I should be. I just don't eat the huge amount of spaghetti, noodles, French bread, pizza, bananas, etc. that I once did.
Here's a great web site that will give you the nutritional content of just about anything you can buy at the market or eat at a fast food joint. Check out the carbs on some of these items. Processed food particularly.
