My father is Scottish, English, and Native American

My mother is Irish, and German

I'd like to add the fact my family history has not been entirely discovered and could thus be related to some sort of dilapidated walrus appearing free loading creep of a scoundrel. On the other hand they could possibly be some sort of King and Queen(Probably Dacian or King and Queen of a sort idealizing the virtue of isolationism and a very much outcast Gaulish tribe if I were to venture in guessing) but none the less would be fam!!!!!!!

I've tried to convince as many people as I could possibly manage the suggestion that everyone is related to someone all of the way back to the very first people that existed but have a hard time at that!!!!!!!

My father's family originated in the Celtic occupation of Great Britain, during which we drove the Picts off the land and into the hills where they turned furtive and mean and covered themselves in woad.

My mother's family originated in the Saxon occupation of Great Britain, during which we drove the Celts off the land and into the hills where they turned furtive and mean and covered themselves in glory by bragging of the good old days when they taught the Picts a lesson or two, while dabbling experimentally in the woad bucket.

We tend to be argumentative but we all agree that at least we're not Scots.

My mom is German. Somehow, they got along fine.

That makes me a white, Christian, life NRA card carrying, conservative republican American and by God I'll fight to stay that way.:yh_flag

That's because the caledonian picts managed to fend off the romans and fought the saxons to a standstill but were so weakened by warfare that scots from ireland were able to invade and take over. personally I'm celt with probably some viking as well. But everybody is so mixed up anyway who really knows.

Well if you believe the creation myth we are all related are we not.

I'm having difficulty with this subject. Do you mean racial background, national background, or both?

On the whole, I tend to side with Nomad and his answer.

I am truly a mutt. I got told once and there were 1/16ths this or that in there. So I quit listening.

My parents were both born in the United States, therefore American, and are of the Caucasian race.

Funny thing is how Caucasian is missed used these days. If you look up the root words and meanings it get interesting. It has almost nothing to do with how it's misused these days.

You can be Chinese and still be Caucasian.

People find it difficult these days to say "white", it sticks in their throat.

As a division of humans into three measurably different groupings, Mongoloid Negroid and Caucasoid are so broad as to have little practical use. I suspect they're valid classifications even so. I expect red-haired fair-haired and dark-haired are as well, or blue-eyed grey-eyed and brown-eyed.
