I would choose neither. Id beg and cry, whimper, slobber falling to the ground hanging onto the bars until they pried my fingers free. Id offer them sex, money, my 1st born, Id call for mommy then beg some more.

The firing squad, every time. Unless I could opt to have my head put under a unnecessarily large power drop hammer?

What on earth have you done to deserve that?
You're evidently a trusting soul.

Facing 6th and 7th graders every day feels like a firing squad before the summer vacation..............................
I think I would choose lethal injection.

If it comes to it, aim at my head, please. Firing squad.
Don't trust lethal injection to work as advertised. I'm not afraid of death, but dying scares the heck out of me.

I think we should experiment and learn. When are you free next?

I would choose lethal injection. A firing squad seems barbaric and violent to me. I wouldn't want to be one of the group of 5 who shoots him.

Flopping and twitching around on a table in front of a bunch of people that got up early so they could come and watch you die.....I dunno.

Firing squad to the heart. No mask face shield or ear plugs. The last act should be done with flair, smiling and staring at the audience.

I think this guy made this choice because he's hoping that in this day and age we'll stop it.....

Well, I'm due to be shot tomorrow, stoned on Friday (ooer missus!) and hung, drawn and quartered at the weekend. Think I could fit in a cheeky lethal injection on Monday before I'm burned alive and kept on bread and water for six weeks.
Howzat?

I'd as soon avoid either one, but where those the only choices, I think I'd prefer the firing squad.
For my last meal, though, I think I would request a couple of fifths of Jack Daniels Black label.
Then they could have their way with me. I wouldn't much care.

You could request being injected in the early evening as the sun sets and that way folks wouldn't have to get up early and it wouldn't interfere with their dinner time. Actually you don't twitch, maybe a wiggle or two.

-and the time it takes and the pain of it all? ---no thanks.
The Process
- The prisoner is bound to a gurney; two needles are inserted into the prisoner's veins and a saline solution is injected.
- Sodium thiopental, an anesthetic, is injected to put the prisoner to sleep.
- Pavulon, or pancuronium bromide, is released, inducing paralysis and stopping breathing.
- Finally, the flow of potassium chloride stops the heart. This chemical can cause excruciating pain if the prisoner is still conscious.
The Potential Problems
- The prisoner resists and delays establishment of an intravenous line.
- The execution team is not able to find a suitable vein.
- The mixture or composition of drugs is wrong.
- The direction of flow of the injection is wrong.
-The chemicals are directed into tissue rather than a vein.
- The prisoner does not react normally to the drugs.
The Results
- If not rendered unconscious, the inmate will feel excruciating pain; if paralyzed by the pancuronium bromide, the inmate will be unable to show this pain.
- Some executions have lasted between 20 minutes to over an hour and prisoners have been seen gasping for air, grimacing and convulsing during executions.
- Autopsies have shown severe, foot long chemical burns to the skin and needles have been found in soft tissue.
