Well, haven't gone in 2 years, #2 son is taking me to see Airbender. I opted for that, didn't want to see Karate Kid, since I adore the original. I said "fantasy martial arts" like it will help me for anything in class tomorrow night! Twilight-not interested. Gosh, am I getting too old for matinees! :wah:
What have you all seen lately at the movies? Only movie I'm waiting to see is Tron-that remake I think I will enjoy.

I highly recommend "The book of Eli". Saw it twice, so far.

Don't go to the movies anymore Chonsi...so sick of people talking, especially on their cell, and tall people sitting in front of me when there's tons of other seats.

You have to see 'Avator'.
I saw it in 3D and at an IMAX theater.
The DVD is released in 3D in the fall!:guitarist

It was a pretty good movie, pretty close to the cartoon. The Dali Lama with elemental powers-I told my son that and he was clueless.:wah:
I got the DVD of Avatar, it was all right-Dances with Wolves in the future. (but the musical score to Dances with Wolves, is one of my favorites, nothing today has the same background music to make the movie move you so. The best musical score-Out of Africa, Schindler's List, there are so many good musical scores)
I think I miss the old cartoons of Disney, the previews, 4 out of 6, were the animated kind. It worked with Toy Story (I've only seen one) but they don't have the effect the cartoons did, with Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Bambi, the really old ones. (like me)
No noise in this movie theater, they were pretty good. Not one cell phone rang!

As long as you both had fun is what counts.
Dances with Wolves is one of my fav's, I've never heard a cell phone in any theatre, perhaps because they are forbidden here.

Yes, it was fun-I don't go out much. My son wanted a subway to take in (ssh, don't tell) and who should walk up-but the chief of security! Oh, oh-and then I started to laugh, he is a student at TKD with me.
Oh, cells are asked to be off-I just think people are ruder about it here.
