I don't know what it is about a vacuum cleaner, but give me a good one and I am ready to clean "Buckingham Palace". I can go and go and go, like the Energizer Bunny.

Cleaning toilets is another one, although not especially enjoyable, the results are satisfying. Dusting is another one that I actually enjoy. Washing windows and cleaning the oven I dislike.

Love pruning trees, shrubs and bushes, but hate the pick up of debris. I don't like digging, raking or crawling around on all fours in the mud or dirt, nor do I like planting anything. Mowing a lawn (like vacuuming) is fun and I enjoy that. Of course I only do these things when the maid, butler and gardener have their monthly day off. :wah:

I just bought a steamer to clean my rugs. Must learn how to use it when my house projects are done.

I won't do yardwork anymore because I get violently ill from the mold and pollen. I have these 2 lovely men who weed wack between my pavers and use the weed blower also every 2 weeks. I just have to spray the weeds with Round-Up as they appear, and sweep up the neighbor's garbage that lands in my yard

The only chore that I hate to do in my home is wash the floor. I do an awful job:-1 I'm going to call in a professional to show me how to properly clean my floor.

The two things I like doing the least is dusting and windows.

Cooking is not really what I would call a household chore and I love it. My specialty is preparing any kind of meal that takes less time in the preparation than it takes to eat it. My least favorite meal is the one that takes forever and ever to prepare and then can be consumed in a matter of 10 to 20 minutes.

I love to cook also, but do need time to work all the spices in...

I love to tackle really big projects like the last 2 houses I bought. They were disasters! Transforming them into something liveable delights me. And regular house cleaning I love. Probably because when I was working in real estate, sometimes, I worked 7 day weeks and never had time to really deep-clean. I had a cleaning lady but I like to clean my statues and art and dust my books while I listen to music or in football season to watch a game or games. So it was a luxury for me to have a Sunday off to do that.

I know how you feel------I forgot to mention that I just love dusting my statuary and paintings and polishing the ancient gold and silver coins is really exciting. Of course Benjamin usually does this, but on his monthly day off I take over.

I dont necessarily enjoy cleaning but I appreciate a clean house. Also I clean because my compulsion will not allow me to not clean.

I love cleaning the place, gives me a real pleasure when everything looks shiny clean.

I hate dusting, just to many things to dust.

washing floors, I'd rather leave that one.

scrubbing beside the kitchen sink where it meets the counter sucks.

dusting all the trim work is okay.

windows.....grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

love working outdoors, digging, mowing the grass, weed eating, hedge clipping, clipping bushes, planting, using the leaf blower to clean up, all of these things gives me satisfaction that I can do it & it looks awesome.
