I'm going to put my 3 air cons and 6 fans on in a bit. I'll try to go to the beach later, but there's a west wind. This wind brings all of the biting greenhead flies over from the bay. Then everyone heads for the hills:thinking::wah:

I'll drink water alllllllll day and ice cream later sounds good:-6

We are having a very cool summer here in San Diego compared to the rest of the country just a few days in the 90's the rest unseasonably cool. :)

Air conditioning and lots of cold water and when the rain hits again, go for a walk in it.

Already got some outside chores done this morning. The humidity is high and were suppose to be pushing the high 90's today.

UGH! Why is it everybody complains about the weather but nobody does anything about it? Well, my bird thermometer tells me it's 98 on my shaded patio: Time to oversee the shed-tipping-back-to-its-upright-position-and-seeing-how-much-damage-it-did.

Same here. I love the Crystal Light lemonade. That's what I'm drinking now.

they are really good for only 5 calories.

I've never seen the lemonade, mind you I'm looking for cherry/pomegranate, so I've written it down for my next shopping.

I voted hot, it's cold where I live!! I would much rather deal with

heat, I love the sun. We have had only one 90 degree day so

far, back on June 27th. So far in July, only FOUR days where the

sun was out when I got up in the morning. All the rest, gray, cold,

drizzle, and wind. You'd think the wind would blow the fog away,

but it doesn't. Some days it burns off early, but there have been

a few where it doesn't clear up until 3:00 or so, and rolls back in

about 6:00. Days when we don't make it to 70 degrees, even.

Starts getting really depressing, not having a summer. :-1

Thanks for allowing me the mini-rant!

Yup. Near enough to the coast that it's "normal" for

us to have it like this. By Sept. and Oct., we'll have nicer

days. I wait, and hope...

I left for my walk this morning, 52 degrees. Sweatshirt hood

up (I'd wear earmuffs but it's JULY and I don't want to be

laughed at!) and lightweight gloves on. BRRRR!!

The heat still usually comes on once a day, and if not, I turn

it on to warm things up before I climb out of the shower!

Wow...that's amazing Val. I always thought that most of CA was warm along the coast and cold in the mts. Hope you have more sun soon. It's really disgusting here at the beach. The temp is 100F, but there's so much humidity. I went outside for 25 min. to water plants and came in soaking wet because of the humidity. Had to take 2 showers already, but I had an outdoor shower build, and it was lovely to shower outside.
