I just came back from swim class, the aquatic center has sides that are all glass. In the back field the kids had butterfly nets, and were chasing the little critters up and down the hills. What a lovely summer day, on this last week of vaction for me. :-4

That's not something you see kids doing around here much any more.

Hi All,
Chonsi,
what day do the kidlets arrive? We start on Sept.1 and finish on June 13th if we don't have tons of snowdays like last year....:wah:
I'll be going into school this week and next week to set up and have meetings. I have a student teacher, so that's a lot of work.
I just bought new curtains with butterflies on them. We have the monarch butterflies visiting us again all summer. It's lovely to see them fluttering around the town:-6
BTW Chonsi...If our classes are cooperative this year, would you like to do a cyber science experiment after Christmas? We could think of something fun and easy.

Oh, I would love to do a science project with the kidlets! Just let me know, Kathy!
Students return on the 30th, ends June 17. But we have 5 snow days built in. No snow, we get out a week early.
I have one meeting on Thursday for science. I am going in early to put the paper up on the bulletin boards, so I get good colors. First week of lessons are ready to be printed and copied. No student teacher for me, I teach one class as a co-teacher. My new clarinet is ready for band, I finally learned to stop squeeking.
