Actually I'm still searching for it . I have "stuff" but I'm on a new road now and out to discover new things ...I'll get back to you on that.
I have to admit I have taken up sining again. I made people cry the other week when I sung Amazing grace. It wasn't my intention but at least I know I still have it. That kind of floats my boat.

Oh Goodie.... A lovely new thread where I get chance to show my passion again.
YouTube - Cheltenham (Downtown)
These are mine and where I am at most happiest. I have been lucky In life where I have worked some the best Race-courses In Britain but the Cheltenham festival held over 4 days Is the high-light of my racing calender.
I am not one of those gamblers who are In the bookies betting on any-thing. I have 5 or 6 Special National Hunt Chase race-horses and I follow their careers each time they run. That is the art of beating a bookie... Not to take chances gambling on any-thing In the hope of getting a winner but to concentrate on the careers of a few of the best. When one retires, there Is always another waiting to go on my list.
This particular video Is very special to me because the 6 or so horses I follow all the time did so well at Cheltenham last year. They are Kauto Star, Denman, Big Bucks, Cooldine, Weapons Amnisty, Forpaddytheplasterer, Tricky Trickster, Imperial Commander, Madison Du Berlais, Character Bulilding.
There Is no amount of money I would not pay to see them run at Cheltenham or Kempton on Boxing Day.

Oh, history is so much fun, it was my major field. I still read and write history all the time, speaking at a history conference in Oct. (a good excuse to see my grandson too, and I got excused for it from school for once)

Before my husband was ill, he took me to Gettysburg, it was so interesting. We used to visit lots of historical sites, he was too tired from the car ride to his parents this summer to stop at Antietam, I always wanted to see that too.

Which reminds me, I meant to mention, I'm currently proofreading "Picture Writing of the American Indian" from 1893 and an interesting read it's making too.
I saw the title and I thought of you
