What an unbelievable hassle selling one house and buying another and I am looking forward to going to Hawaii for 10 days and recuperating from real estate agents, inspectors, appraisers, lenders, title companies etc. While just a few years ago a person with a zero net worth could get loan for $400,000, now you must pledge your first and second born child or grandchildren and submit an unbelievable amount of financial data. Talk about a 360 degree turn around. :-5

They wonder why they can't turn the housing market around no one can past the test anymore. They needed to be somewhere in the middle with financing so people can buy again.

Same thing happened to me 4 years ago. Oh the hoops I had to jump through, extending a note I was carrying, changing bank accounts around, etc.!! Yet I know of a girl who didn't have a job and no way of showing how she would be able to make the payment was approved for her loan without a hassle! My daughter just got back from Maui a week ago. She said it's still gorgeous! You have a wonderful time and relax!
