With the impending arrival of Mother's Day, I'm stumped for good ideas.:-5 I usually get flowers for mom but I thought some of you might have unique or interesting ideas, or could share what you've done for your mom that made a Mother's Day particularly special! Doesn't have to be a gift - it could be anything!!

Give her a "cheque" but not for money, eg, `I promise to do my mum`s shopping once a week for a year` or `i promise to babysit / cook / visit my mum once a week` or whatever? Just a thought!

Make sure you see your mom/mum on Sunday...not Saturday...or she will get all hurt and talk in a sad voice. (Personal experience last night.) Ughhhh!!!

I suppose it depends how old your mum is, try to find out about a special time in her life & buy her something from that era.
I did it a while back, with a little help from Valerie & my mum was over the moon we spent all afternoon discussing the 50's x.
