I remember trying Chrome a while back.

Didn't like it. Lot's of weird stuff it did.

Firefox works fine for me.

I am sure there are lots of people who have.

I just didn't like it. I guess I got comfortable with Mozilla and it does what I want, and I can make it do what I want, so I am less willing to go through the learning curve of changing to Chrome.

I'll shut up now.

Chrome's quite right. The front page has a baghdadbob picture hotlinked from that site and it should have been unhotlinked. Chrome's quite likely correct that the site is a hotbed of viral corruption but the photo's not going to infect anybody. We'll delete it.

If you trust your anti-virus/anti-malware program enough, you can probably configure Chrome, and other browsers to not warn you of such things.

I rather approve of the warning, I don't want to be on a website that's been infected with a trojan injector.

Kaz, it ought to have gone now, the hotlink's deleted.

Sorry for the bad advice, Kaz, that's why Spot's around. It's easy for me to dismiss these things since I don't use Window's, but I should try to be more cautious when advising others.

Thanks for bailing me out, Spot.

It is certainly a good idea to get the warning, though, I find that my AV waits until I try to follow a link to that actual bad places.

If you wish, from now on, I will post any warnings I get from links out of FG.

Definitely, I'm horrified to think they might exist at all.

thanks,, as i said i have used chrome for well over a year now and this is the first time it has done that, so i tended towards caution.
