Most of my current deadlines are self imposed. It's been a long time since I had a long term project that had a real consequence laden deadline and I kind of miss it. I used to have deadlines every hour or every quarter hour when I worked in film. 10 minutes costs a film production thousands so I existed under deadlines from the moment I arrived till they called wrap every day. Ok. I don't miss it that much.

Nevertheless, without a consequence, it's really hard to meet deadlines. I try telling myself "Do it or die with a meaningless existence, without ever having made a difference in the world!" but... hehe... it's hard to get fired from a self employed project.

I wonder, if your projects, Koan, have anything to do with Tarot cards. I remember you once did a reading for me and it was such an adequate depiction of the situation, I held my breath... However, unfortunately, the challenge card (the Sun) seemed not to fit, because the result was rather tragic for me and I definitely did not feel this warmth that should have come from the Sun. Maybe that's because I wasn't prepared to meet this challenge. Just as I'm mostly incapable of meeting deadlines
