This confirms my doubts about the Egyptian revolution. The army was always the real power in the country.

Rather depends on how the rest of the army reacts to the treatment of those soldiers arrested for joining the demonstrators. The generals only have control so long as enough soldiers obey them.

True. I also just heard Mubarak has been summoned for questioning by the justice minister. We shall see.
