I learned a few years ago that hoping the Canucks win is a bad health choice.

They don't just lose. They look like they're going to win. And then they lose.

Current series: Canucks vs BlackHawks

Canucks are up 3-0 and just need one more win for a complete shutout and moving on to the finals. Then they lose. Not just lose, 7-2 lose. And the game tonight is 5-0 after the first period.

I'm not saying, at this point, that they won't win another game and move on but the better entertainment would be if the BlackHawks win in a certain death situation comeback. Either way, the Canucks won't win the finals. Best we can hope for is that the team that beats them wins so we can feel like we came in second.

Don't feel so bad. They recently did a study about cities with high rates of depression, Seattle was near the top. A factor in that study was the sports teams. The Seahawks and the Mariners are pathetic.
