I don't think anyone ever had a bad word to say about Sir Henry Cooper, OBE. A man of immense charm and good humour, an asset to the mood of the country, accolades one would be hard-pressed to use with many boxers. America has Mohammed Ali, we had 'Enry, both worth listening to.

A sad, sad, day. He's not been seen much of recent years but he was one of the greats.

His killer left hook and knocking down Ali was a bit of a highlight of his career. RIP

Of his boxing career maybe but his fame and reputation went far beyond that - when most world champions would have been forgotten he still held the hearts of a nation.

I think he must have had a rule that he'd only do an advert if it had comic potential.
