Happy early Fourth to everyone! What is everyone's plans for the holiday weekend?



(I'm still learning about ForumGarden and posted this in General Chit Chat before realizing there was a Holiday's forum...so, sorry for the double post!):D

I am not a fireworks lover so it's grit your teeth and survive the onslaught of crazy people burning down homes & businesses in the process of having fun. People are generally just plain stupid. I put in a 200 mile scooter ride the day of the holiday, riding in the opposite direction where I knew there would be crowds. Once in the mountains I stopped to photograph waterfalls and flowers. I was invited to join friends in Salem, OR for dinner and finished my holiday well fed.
