Well I guess you all may have noticed I have been rather scarce as of late. There's been some goings on in the household. My wife has had to go home to Amman Jordan. Her mother has breast cancer. Apparently it is pretty bad, not stage 4 though. I don't have all the details. This all started at the beginning of June.

Since my wife has left for home I have had to move from our home of 9 years to a smaller apartment in order to save money. On top of that the damn clutch in my truck went out. Me and a friend pulled the tranny Sunday. The damn thing is huge and needs some work. No point in just slapping it back in without doing the seals ect. I don't ever want to have to take it out again. Damn thing is 5 ft long and made out of steel. 150 kg, maybe more. I had to order some parts.

Anyway, to make ends meet I have gotten another place and since our savings are taking a MAJOR HIT with this I have been looking for a room mate. I put an add up on Craigs List and have been trying to rent out the bed room here. I've been getting responses but this one seems a little strange. I think it's a scam but as I noted below I knew someone who once had a roomie that worked in advertising and basically was legitimate.

Here is our E-mail conversation in it's entirety. What do you think? Is there a way to check this out? With my state of mind right now I'm cautious of trusting my own judgement.

Well Jone I'm going to run our conversation past a few friends, I'm very leary of giving out any information no matter how harmless it may seem. I hope you can understand that in todays internet world you have to be very cautious. Remember the Nigerian oil scam? Do you have Skype? Your bosses phone number so I can give him a call?

The reason I'm even speaking to you is I have a friend who once had a room mate who worked for a large computer company and needed a base to work from, the roomie did something with advertising. The individual was legitimate.

Do you have a passport? A valid US drivers license, Canadian? Are you 28 years of age or 30? Here's a little information for you so that you can see where I live on Google earth and you can see my complex. It's 4821 S Kent Des Moines Rd Kent Wa 98032.

If you're ligit, I'll work with you. If not I don't have any problems with wasting your time.

Still available as of this morning. $425 gets you in. $425 a month total after that. There's also a background check which is about $30 the management requires. If you're not a criminal on the run then it should be okay. They're pretty tight on security here and don't like drama. It's a really nice place, peaceful. The bath needs a little work which the management is going to do this week. It is unfurnished. What's your plan? Dates? Technically I have until Aug 5 to rent it.

I know how it feels when you have no one to wake up to....hang in there.

try something different to eat for Barnabus and make sure you spend lots of fun times.

Barnabus is only eating kidney and only a little. It used to be only a treat, at least he's eating more. He doesn't like this place either. My wifes mom is getting good care but she's not out of the woods yet.

Glad your mother in law is feeling better, perhaps now it won't be to long until your wife comes home.
