ummm after trying to tear it down ...are they now trying to preserve it?

I would like a piece of it to put on someones grave..

It's hard now to think how it must have been for so many people, suddenly cut off completely from family and friends. Even telephonic communication was ended. It was just like your brother or sister or mother or best friend no longer existed..... The wall went through buildings, down the middle of a neighbourhood... It's a "Lest We Forget" situation.
