Kosher Pork??---A Horrible Mistake

My wife and I found a deli in Charlotte, NC once, that claimed to New York Kosher style.
The offered all sorts of meats, and the menu also claimed all items were kosher.
They had Kielbasa, Ham, Smoked Ham, Sugar Cured Ham, Salt Cured Ham, on the list.
I asked the clerk if she was sure the ham was kosher, and she said, "Oh yeah, the guy that delivers the meat is Sam Kosher, from New York."
