Little Boy (1) ... Little Boy (2)

I wrote Little Boy (1) on the anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima Japan.
LITTLE BOY. (1)
On this day a
Little boy fell
And millions cried,
Not for him but for
Humanity which also
Died.
LITTLE BOY (2)
I wish I were a little boy
In short pants and bare feet
Giving to my mother joy
And kissing girls I meet!
I would be so very cute
And mom would hug me tight
“Jones you are a little beaut!”
She’d tell me every night.
But sadly I’m a grown man
My moms no longer here
Others hardly give a damn
Even when I shed a tear!
