Been a rather dry evening so far. The Utilities Company cut off our water due to a burst pipe. No hot water ... no cold water coming out the faucets, just a sort of hissing, gurgling sound like an old wino clearing his throat. :yh_rotfl

So I had to scoop some water out the swimming pool and carry it inside to my shower where I had a rather chilly wash cum bath. Didn't do my bad back any good. When I had finished while I was drying myself I had a good laugh as I thought back to the many times when I was kid that my mom washed me this way. :wah:

And to think that many, many earthlings the world over wash like this every single day of their lives.

I hated that poem, we had to read and dissect it in the 9th grade. They probably should have passed out laudanum so we could get into the spirit of the thing.

Well at least it spawned one memorable quote!
