Do you dream?

Do you remember them?

I do believe that dreams are subconsious thoughts but I draw the line at dreams of people I know that descend Into erotica, especially when I have never had one sexual thought about that person in my life before.

I was seeing my local MP this afternoon and the night before I dreamt of him In rather a saucy manner. Upon waking I was quite horrified because he Is a Tory.

He Is a good friend to my husband and myself and we like him a lot but not In that way.

So why am I having lurid dreams about him when the thought has never entered my head before? I was embarrassed to meet him now.

This happened to me once before and I awoke feeling rather Ill after dreaming about Jeremy Clarkson.

This Is my Tory MP and as you can see, he Is rather nice but that's not the point. I went to bed thinking of anything else but him.

I can't remember that many dreams I have had the ones I have remembered are about nothing erotic, and while I am dreaming it is kinda in the 3rd person behind myself

The ones I can remember having

A.) I was in VA and everyone was running from an oncoming tidal wave we kept running when I turned back a couple times I noticed the wave didn't move so I woke up.

b.) I was in a white void were a battle between some generically drawn super heroes and villans were having a war one really fat super hero landed in the middle of the void and a black whole burst out of his navel on his stummoch and sucked everyone in to it.

c) my friend had bought a new house and was telling me about it and how it had a fox that came around, next door a woman was walking dogs (and a lot of them Basset, Saint Bernard, dauchshund, terriers, ect) he saw the fox near a beat up shed and threw a hatchet at it, it missed and stuck in the shed when the fox went darting out all the dogs chased after it dragging the lady behind them.

Probably allegorical warning you to be careful not to be seduced by the tories who will say what it takes to have their wicked way.

I dream but I very seldom remember any of them but I assume I do dream. As a child i used to have nightmares and wake up terrified my way of coping was to train myself not to remember. As an adult I cannot for the life of me reverse the process, A pity as I now appreciate it might be useful to remember them.

One thing that's interesting about dreams is they animate one's interpretation of the culture. One theory is that every person in the dream is in fact a version of the dreamer and the faces and personalities are projections.

So, if that's in fact true, erotic dreams are Narcissistic.

And it doesn't really matter what it is you were thinking about just prior to falling asleep unless that sort of meditation is practiced regularly. That part is a discipline.

So why am I able to choose my dreams on a regular basis and be able to control them within the dream? I was told that was a sleep disorder .....but a buddist would say it's enlightenment.

I always feel brilliant after I have 'seen them' and 'talked to them' again In my dreams.
